Teardown at BuildNZ is not glamorous, but doing it right protects your investment and sets you up for the next show.

Teardown Checklist

• Wait for official teardown signal — early dismantling may violate your contract
• Photograph the booth from multiple angles before disassembly
• Pack high-value items first: monitors, tablets, product samples
• Label all crates and boxes clearly with return shipping addresses
• Disassemble booth structure in reverse order of assembly
• Inspect all components for damage and note for insurance if needed
• Arrange freight pickup or deliver to show's shipping area
• Clean your space — venues may charge for excessive debris
• Collect all remaining materials, giveaways, and personal items
• Confirm shipping tracking numbers before leaving the venue
